Bookcases in painted redwood & oiled oak
These understated bookcases were made for a local client who wanted the option to have them freestanding or joined together to form a 'library'.
To achieve this the end cornices, the end battens on the cupboard tops, and the plinth ends were made removable. This allowed the units to sit alongside each other without gaps.
The carcasses were hand painted in acrylic eggshell, and the oak shelves and cupboard tops were oiled.
Heavy-duty adjustable shelf supports allow for maximum flexibilty, and the shelf and cupoard sections can be separated for ease of transport and installation.
