Bookcases in painted redwood
The design brief for this commission was to produce practical storage for a small sitting room which would make best use of the available space without feeling heavy or intrusive.
To achieve this I designed a matched pair of bookcases to be placed each side of the doors which are a major feature of the room.
The simple curves, subtle details and neutral colour impose a sense of calm on the space.
