Timber sales
I am happy to supply timber to order. Small stocks of top quality redwood and oak are held, and other timbers and sheet materials are available to order. I have good links with local and national suppliers, so if I don't have what you need in stock I can probably get it, or at least suggest a possible source of supply.
A full cutting and machining service is offered, which will be appreciated by the keen DIYer and home craftsman.

Metalworking
My workshop has a small engineering facility where I make and restore fittings and components for my projects. The restoration of hardware from period houses is a developing speciality.
More extensive metalworking projects are designed in-house before being passed to local companies such as BlackSheep Ironworks and Ray Barnes Engineering for fabrication.
Tool sharpening
Woodworking, gardening and domestic tools can all be re-ground and sharpened. Please contact me for advice.
Wood shavings
Small or large quantities of softwood shavings are usually available for animal litter. Pleae contact me for details.
I also have clean oak shavings available. These are less absorbent than softwood, so do not make such good animal litter. If you can think of a good use for them please let me know!
